Yes. Florida homeschool law offers families five annual evaluation options. ClearPath provides two of them:
- Portfolio evaluation by a Florida-certified teacher (our most popular option for homeschoolers)
- Standardized testing on the Florida DOE approved list: DORA, ADAM, or Stanford 10
All services meet Florida Statute 1002.41 annual evaluation requirements. You will receive signed documentation ready for district submission.
According to Florida Statute 1002.41, your portfolio must include:
Required by Law:
- A log of educational activities made during instruction that lists reading materials by title (planner, journal, or calendar showing what was covered)
- Samples of student work including writings, worksheets, workbooks, or creative materials
What evaluators typically look for:
- Evidence of educational progress throughout the year
- Variety of work samples showing growth
- Reading list or log of books completed
- Photos of projects, field trips, or hands-on activities (optional but helpful)
The evaluation process includes:
- Review of your portfolio by a FL-certified teacher
- Discussion with your student about their progress (required by statute)
- Signed evaluation letter documenting educational progress
Note: You must preserve your portfolio for 2 years. The district can request to inspect it with 15 days’ written notice, though this is rare.

DORA (Diagnostic Online Reading Assessment) is a computer-adaptive reading diagnostic on the Florida DOE approved assessment list. It evaluates multiple reading skills and results arrive within 24–48 hours.
ADAM (Adaptive Diagnostic Assessment of Mathematics) is a computer-adaptive math diagnostic on the Florida DOE approved assessment list. It identifies specific strengths and growth areas and results arrive within 24–48 hours.
You may purchase the combo package, and families may choose to schedule both tests on the same day or on separate days.
However, because each assessment requires focus and accuracy, most students perform better when the sessions are completed on separate days.
Same-day testing is available upon request.
Scheduling DORA and ADAM on different days helps:
- prevent testing fatigue
- support concentration
- improve accuracy
- reduce stress
But if your child does best completing everything at once, we can accommodate same-day testing.
The Stanford 10 is a nationally norm-referenced standardized achievement test administered over two consecutive days. It is on the Florida DOE approved assessment list and meets Florida homeschool and Step Up (FES-UA, FES-EO, FTC, PEP) testing requirements.
