FES-UA Families Must Complete an Annual Evaluation Under FS 1002.41.
If your child is registered under Florida’s home education statute (FS 1002.41) and receives an FES-UA scholarship, Florida law requires an annual evaluation of your child’s educational progress. This must be completed by a Florida-certified teacher.
There are five options under the statute. At ClearPath we offer the two most popular – and the two that require no standardized test score minimum and no in-person meeting.

A Florida DOE certified teacher administers and monitors both STAR Reading and STAR Math in one 75-minute Zoom session. Satisfies the FES-UA annual evaluation requirement and gives you objective score data on where your child stands academically.

How to Use Your FES-UA Scholarship Funds at ClearPath.
ClearPath Homeschool Testing is an approved Step Up For Students provider. Your FES-UA scholarship funds can be used for both the portfolio evaluation and STAR live-proctored testing.
Reserve your funds in EMA Marketplace before booking or submitting. Each service requires a separate reservation.

You can submit your portfolio or schedule your session first, but your service will not be completed until payment is confirmed — either through the EMA Marketplace (Step Up) or private pay. Follow the EMA steps below if using your scholarship funds.
