Terms & Conditions
By booking or purchasing services with ClearPath Homeschool Testing, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before scheduling an appointment or placing an order. These terms apply to all services offered by ClearPath Homeschool Testing, including live-proctored testing, parent-administered testing, and portfolio evaluations.
1 Nature of Services
ClearPath Homeschool Testing provides educational testing, assessments, and evaluation services administered or supervised by a Florida-certified teacher.
All services are educational in nature, not medical, psychological, diagnostic, or therapeutic.
ClearPath does not diagnose learning disabilities or any medical or psychological conditions.
ADAM (Adaptive Diagnostic Assessment of Mathematics) is a math assessment that measures foundational math skills and pre-algebra readiness. It is an FL DOE approved norm-referenced test accepted for annual scholarship documentation.
2 Payment Policy
Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
Payments become non-refundable once a testing session has begun or portfolio materials have been submitted for review.
Full payment is due at the time of purchase.
Payment is non-refundable once test access credentials or testing materials have been delivered, regardless of whether the test has been started or completed. Delivery of credentials constitutes the beginning of service.
Families using scholarship funds are responsible for:
- Reserving the correct service in EMA
- Ensuring funds are available
- Completing approvals before the appointment or order
ClearPath does not control Step Up funding decisions.
Families remain financially responsible for services that are:
- Not approved
- Denied
- Submitted incorrectly
- Reserved under the wrong category
If Step Up does not pay the invoice, the parent/guardian must pay the balance.
For parent-administered testing, payment is non-refundable once test access credentials have been delivered, regardless of whether the test has been started or completed. Delivery of credentials constitutes the beginning of service.
For portfolio evaluations, payment is non-refundable once portfolio materials have been submitted for review.
For live-proctored testing, payment is non-refundable once the scheduled session has begun.
The fact that a student has not yet taken the test or that results have not yet been delivered does not entitle the client to a refund once access credentials or service access has been provided.
3 Scheduling, Cancellations & Rescheduling
This section applies to live-proctored testing sessions only. Parent-administered testing and portfolio evaluations do not require scheduled appointments and are not subject to cancellation or no-show policies.
- At least 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a live-proctored session.
- Cancellations with fewer than 24 hours’ notice may incur a rescheduling fee.
- No-shows are non-refundable.
- ClearPath may reschedule any session affected by illness, technology issues, or disruptive environments.
Most students complete DORA and ADAM within 30–60 minutes, and each standard appointment already includes a 90-minute testing window to ensure students do not feel rushed.
If a student requires additional time beyond this window:
- A 30-minute extended-time block is $40
- A 60-minute extended-time block is $75
- Parents will be informed before extra time is added
- Extended time may occur the same day (if scheduling allows) or on a different day
- Extended-time fees apply whether additional time is used in one session or across multiple sessions
4 Portfolio Evaluation Services
Portfolio evaluations are fully online and submission-based. No appointment is required. The parent or guardian submits portfolio materials through ClearPath’s secure online form, and a Florida-certified teacher reviews the submission and issues an official evaluation letter.
Evaluation letters will be delivered within 48 business hours of receiving a complete, qualifying submission. The 48-hour clock begins when all required materials have been received in acceptable condition — not at the time of initial submission if materials are incomplete or unusable.
Business hours exclude weekends and holidays. Submissions received after 5:00 PM ET on a Friday will begin processing the following Monday.
A qualifying submission must include all required materials as specified in the submission form, including:
- Reading and writing work samples
- Math work samples
- Work samples from at least two additional subjects
- A reading list (typed or uploaded)
- An activity log
- Responses to all three required student discussion questions
If a submission is incomplete, contains unreadable files, or is missing required materials, ClearPath will notify the parent within one business day and request the missing items. The 48-hour turnaround will begin once the complete submission is received.
ClearPath reserves the right to decline to issue an evaluation letter if submitted materials are insufficient to support a meaningful evaluation under Florida Statute 1002.41(1)(f).
Families may request an optional 15-minute review meeting with their evaluator after the evaluation letter is delivered. This meeting is included at no additional charge and is available via Zoom or phone. The meeting is intended for parents who have questions about the evaluation letter or next steps — it is not a substitute for the written evaluation and does not replace or alter the issued letter.
Review meetings are subject to availability and must be requested within 14 days of evaluation letter delivery. To request a meeting, contact us at [email protected].
By submitting a portfolio, the parent or guardian certifies that all submitted materials, work samples, and student responses are accurate and represent the student’s actual independent work for the stated school year. ClearPath evaluates materials as submitted and is not responsible for the accuracy of information provided by the family.

Parents must provide:
- A stable internet connection
- A laptop or desktop computer (unless otherwise approved)

If environmental or technical disruptions prevent proper test administration, ClearPath may reschedule at its discretion.
Parents must provide:
- A stable internet connection

- A quiet, distraction-free testing environment
A camera and microphone are not required for parent-administered testing. No Zoom session or live monitoring is involved.
ClearPath is not responsible for technical issues arising from the parent’s device or internet connection. If technical issues prevent test completion after credentials have been delivered, ClearPath will make reasonable efforts to assist but cannot guarantee a refund or replacement session.
6 Testing Integrity — Live-Proctored Sessions
All standardized and norm-referenced assessments administered in live-proctored sessions must comply with:
- Test publisher guidelines
- Step Up for Students provider requirements
- Florida Home Education Statute (F.S. 1002.41)
Students Must:
- ✔ Complete all test items independently
- ✔ Keep cameras on throughout the test

- ❌ Define words or explain vocabulary
- ❌ Rephrase or simplify questions
- ❌ Assist with decoding, hints, or problem-solving
- ❌ Sit next to the student during testing
Any violation of testing integrity may result in:
- Session termination
- Results being invalidated

ClearPath reserves the right to end a session if testing integrity cannot be maintained.
7 Testing Integrity — Parent-Administered Testing
Parent-administered testing allows families to complete FL DOE approved assessments (DORA Reading, ADAM Math) at home on their own schedule. ClearPath provides test access credentials and professional scoring. No live monitoring occurs.
By purchasing parent-administered testing, the parent or guardian agrees to the following:
Administration Requirements
- ✔ The test must be administered strictly according to ClearPath’s provided instructions
- ✔ The student must complete all test items independently and without assistance
- ✔ No calculator is permitted for ADAM Math — calculator use invalidates results
- ✔ No other person may assist the student with test content, questions, answers, or navigation
- ✔ The test must be completed in a single session unless the test platform itself allows pausing
Parents/Guardians May:
- ✔ Read the general directions to the student as written in the provided instructions
- ✔ Assist with login and device setup before the test begins
- ✔ Provide approved breaks as specified in the instructions
- ✔ Troubleshoot technical issues
Parents/Guardians May NOT:
- ❌ Read test questions, passages, or answer choices aloud
- ❌ Define words, explain vocabulary, or rephrase questions
- ❌ Provide hints, prompts, or assistance with any test item
- ❌ Allow the student to use a calculator during ADAM Math
- ❌ Allow any third party to assist the student
- ❌ Screenshot, record, copy, or distribute any test content, questions, or items
- ❌ Share test content with any other person or entity
By submitting completed test results to ClearPath for scoring, the parent/guardian certifies that the test was administered in accordance with these requirements and ClearPath’s provided instructions.
ClearPath is not responsible for invalid or unusable results caused by improper administration. This includes but is not limited to:
- Calculator use during ADAM Math
- Parental or third-party assistance during testing
- Failure to follow provided administration instructions
- Environmental disruptions not disclosed before purchase
If results are invalid due to improper administration, no refund will be issued and a new purchase will be required. ClearPath will notify the family if submitted results appear to reflect improper administration and will not issue a scored report in that circumstance.
Test content, questions, passages, and answer choices are proprietary and confidential. By purchasing parent-administered testing, you agree that you will not reproduce, share, post, or distribute any test content in any form. Violation of test security may affect the validity of the assessment and could constitute a violation of the test publisher’s terms of use.
8 Accommodations
Accommodation requests must be made before purchasing or scheduling a testing service.
ClearPath follows only publisher-approved accommodations, which may include:
- Extra time (DORA/ADAM are untimed)
- Breaks
- Repeating directions
- Enlarging text
- Scratch paper for ADAM
ClearPath cannot:
- Provide unapproved read-aloud accommodations
- Alter exam timing beyond publisher allowances
- Modify, change, simplify, or reinterpret test items
If a student requires accommodations not permitted by the publisher, ClearPath may recommend an alternate evaluation such as a portfolio review.
For parent-administered testing, the parent is responsible for implementing any approved accommodations correctly as specified in the provided instructions.
9 Documentation & Reporting
After testing or evaluation, families will receive:
- Score reports or evaluation letters (depending on service)

For parent-administered testing, score reports are issued based on results submitted by the parent. ClearPath scores results as submitted and is not responsible for inaccuracies resulting from improper administration.

- Any other required agencies
ClearPath is not responsible for missed deadlines, district decisions, or delays in EMA approval.
